The hotel tradition of the Loizu family is renowned in the Navarre locality of Burguete, since the start of the 18th century. Since then, the pilgrims and muleteers that arrived here found in the guesthouse of Joaquin and Feliciana Loizu Agorreta a peaceful place where they could enjoy the nice home-made Navarre cuisine. With their daughter Severina, the business received the hotel distinction, an award that the house of Loizu won again in 1995 after years functioning as a guesthouse, from the hands of the founders' granddaughter, Alicia Loizu. Currently, the establishment is known as HOTEL LOIZU, and has a three star rating.Propelled by the desire to ensure the family business survives and by the enterprising spirit of the Loizu family, Alicia undertakes important repairs on the house, where you may now enjoy a quiet, restful and comfortable environment.
